No Friday prayers in Jamia, other major mosques

श्रीनगर, 23 अगस्त (वार्ता) जम्मू-कश्मीर के निचले श्रीनगर क्षेत्र की जामिया मस्जिद और अन्य इलाकों में शुक्रवार को लगातार तीसरे हफ्ते जुम्मे की नमाज अदा नहीं की जा सकी। घाटी को विशेष दर्जा देने वाले अनुच्छेद 370 एवं 35ए हटाये जाने के लगातार उन्नींस दिन बाद भी लोगों का जीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हैं।
हजरत सैयद साहब सोनावर में भी नमाज अदा करने की अनुमति नहीं दी गयी। सरकार की नयी नीतियों के विरोध में अलगावादियों के लगातार प्रदर्शन करने के कारण श्राइन बोर्ड ने सभी सड़कें बंद करवा दी गई। मीड़ियाकर्मियों को भी ड़लगेट और सोनवार क्षेत्रीय इलाके में प्रवेश नहीं करने दिया गया। आधिकारिक सूत्रों के मुताबिक, घाटी के भीतरी इलाकों में जुम्मे की नमाज अदा की गयी। इस दौरान प्रदेश में जारी प्रतिबंधो के बीच निचले श्रीनगर एवं अन्य हिस्सों में शुक्रवार तड़के से नमाज पढ़ेे जाने तक होने वाले प्रदर्शनों को रोक दिया गया। ऐतिहासिक मस्जिद के आसपास इकट्ठे लोगों के रोकने के लिये सैंकड़ो जवानों को तैनात किया गया।
जामिया मस्जिद की ओर जाने वाली सभी सड़कों को कटीलें तारों से बंद कर लोगों को अपने गंतव्य स्थलों पर पहुंचने के लिये अन्य वैकल्पिक मार्गों का इस्तेमाल करने की सलाह दी गई। घाटी की अन्य बड़ी मस्जिदें भी बंद होने के कारण अन्य स्थानीय मस्जिदों से आये लोग जुम्मे की नमाज अदा नहीं कर सके।
Srinagar, Aug 23 (UNI) Friday prayers could not be offered for the third successive week in Jamia Masjid in downtown Srinagar and other major mosques in the valley, where life remained crippled for the nineteenth successive day due to restrictions and strike against scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35 A. Friday prayers were also not allowed in the shrine of Hazrat Syed Sahab Sonawar as all roads leading to the shrine were closed to foil a march reportedly called by separatists. Even mediapersons were not allowed to cross the barbed wire placed at Dalgate and Sonawar.
But in the interior areas of the valley, prayers were offered, reports reaching here said. Official sources said that restrictions under section 144 CrPc were re-imposed in downtown and other parts of Srinagar since early Friday morning to prevent protests after Friday prayers.
Hundreds of security forces have been deployed in and around the historic mosque to prevent assembly of people.Roads leading to Jamia masjid, stronghold of Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, were also blocked with barbed wires and people were asked to take alternate routes to reach to their destinations.
At Hawal, Nowhatta and Rangar stop, security forces have closed roads to leading Jamia Masjid with barbed wire. Similarly other major masjids in different parts of the valley were also closed. But, reports of offering of Friday prayers came from smaller local mosques in the valley.

श्रीनगर 19 अप्रैल (वार्ता) पीपुल्स डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी (पीडीपी) की अध्यक्ष महबूबा मुफ्ती ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि लोकसभा चुनाव में वोट मांगने का पार्टी का मुख्य उद्देश्य संसद के माध्यम से देश को यह बताना है कि 2019 में भारतीय जनता पार्टी ( भाजपा) ने उनके साथ क्या किया है।अनुच्छेद 370 को हटाना हमें स्वीकार्य नहीं है।
