राज्य » अन्य राज्यPosted at: Oct 29 2020 1:30PM रेड्डी ने रवि शंकर से ऑनलाइन जुआ, गेम पर रोक लगाने की अपील कीAP CM appeals Ravi Shankar to direct internet service providers to block 'online gambling, gaming'विजयवाडा 29 अक्टूबर (वार्ता) आंध्र प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री वाई एस जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने केन्द्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री रवि शंकर प्रसाद से राज्य के सभी इंटरनेट प्रदाताओं को “ऑनलाइन जुआ और गेम तथा सट्टेबाजी वेबसाइटों’ पर रोक लगाने की अपील की है।Vijayawada, Oct 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed to Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad to direct the internet service providers to block all the “online gambling, gaming and betting websites and apps" from access in the state.श्री रेड्डी ने श्री प्रसाद को लिखे गए अपने पत्र में कहा कि ऑनलाइन गेमिंग और सट्टेबाजी गंभीर रूप से समाज में दुष्प्रभाव फैला रहा है। इसने युवाओं को घरों से मोबाइल फोन और कंप्यूटर के माध्यम से जुए और सट्टेबाजी जैसी गतिविधियों में शामिल होने के आकर्षित किया है और लोग इसका शिकार हो रहे हैं।In a letter to Mr Prasad, the Chief Minister said the online gaming, and betting was fast catching up as a severe social evil.It has led youth getting involved in vices like gambling and betting through their mobile phones and computers from their homes.मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जुए और सट्टेबाजी में हारने के बाद निराश होकर आत्महत्या जैसे कदम उठा रहे हैं।The Chief Minister said that it has led to widespread despair amongst the public suicides due to losing money.“In light of the above, we have amended AP Gaming Act 1974 to include online gaming, gambling and betting as an offence through AP (Amendment) Ordinance 2020.श्री रेड्डी ने पत्र में कहा है कि मैं आपसे इस मामले में हस्तक्षेप और राज्य के सभी इंटरनेट सेवा प्रदाताओं को सभी ‘'ऑनलाइन गेमिंग, जुआ और सट्टेबाजी वेबसाइटों और ऐप’ को ब्लॉक करने का निर्देश देने का अनुरोध करता हूं।“I seek your intervention and indulgence and would request you to direct all the internet service providers to block all the 'online gaming, gambling and betting websites and apps' from access in AP”, Mr Reddy said in the letter.उप्रेतीवार्ता
