सीमावर्ती गांव भारत की रीढ़ हैं : मनोज सिन्हा

जम्मू, 06 मई (वार्ता) जम्मू-कश्मीर के उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा ने बुधवार को कहा कि भारत की सीमा पर बसे केंद्रशासित प्रदेश के गांव साहस और जुझारूपन की एक गौरवशाली विरासत के वाहक हैं।
श्री सिन्हा ने संबा जिले के सीमावर्ती गांव रीगल में जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, "प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में, हमने सोच का नज़रिया बदल दिया है। अब ये भारत के 'आखिरी गांव' नहीं, बल्कि हमारे 'पहले गांव' हैं।" इस दौरे के दौरान उन्होंने कई विकास परियोजनाओं की शुरुआत की और उनकी आधारशिला रखी।
इन परियोजनाओं में सरकारी प्राथमिक विद्यालय 'रीगल' में एक डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी की स्थापना, एक सामुदायिक भवन-सह-मनोरंजन केंद्र का निर्माण, जल निकासी नाली के साथ 'अमृत सरोवर' का विकास, तीन ओपन जिम की स्थापना और सोलर स्ट्रीट लाइट लगाने का कार्य शामिल है।
श्री सिन्हा ने दोहराया कि प्रशासन सीमावर्ती बस्तियों को उपेक्षा के हाशिये से उठाकर राष्ट्रीय प्रगति की अग्रिम पंक्ति में लाने के लिये प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने कहा, "रीगल जैसे सीमावर्ती गांव भारत की रीढ़ हैं। हमारा गौरवशाली इतिहास इन्हीं सीमावर्ती गांवों के दुर्गम रास्तों में गढ़ा गया था। हम हर सीमावर्ती गांव के परिवार की गरिमा की रक्षा करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं, और यह सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि जिन लोगों को अब तक सबसे अधिक उपेक्षा का सामना करना पड़ा है, उन्हें अब जम्मू-कश्मीर की प्रगति के इस नए दौर में सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता दी जाए।"

He also highlighted the Government of India's Vibrant Villages Programme, which seeks to integrate border populations into the national mainstream by focusing on livelihood generation, infrastructure, and connectivity. The programme aims to ensure comprehensive development in four key areas: all-weather road connectivity, telecom connectivity, television access, and electrification, through convergence under existing scheme guidelines.
"Every effort is being made to ensure that the aspirations of every single citizen are fulfilled, that the development demands of border residents are met.
Furthermore, by adopting a "Whole-of-Government Approach, we aim to ensure that every target set under the Vibrant Villages Programme is achieved," he said.
The Lieutenant Governor directed the officials to ensure that every household in the border villages has access to electricity, mobile connectivity, and economic independence.
"We must ensure that by 2030, not a single family in the border villages of Samba remains below the poverty line," the Lieutenant Governor said.
Responding to the demands raised by Member of the Legislative Assembly Ramgarh, the Lieutenant Governor reiterated that the administration is committed to providing land ownership rights to displaced persons from PoJK and WPRs.
He also stated that the completion of the Shahpur Kandi Dam would provide a massive boost to the region's agricultural productivity.
The Lieutenant Governor lauded Regal for becoming a TB-free village and urged continued vigilance regarding clean drinking water and the collective fight against drug abuse.
The Lieutenant Governor also handed over appointment orders to SPOs and sanction letters to various youth of the village and beneficiaries under HADP, Mission Yuva and other schemes.
During his visit to the Regal Border Out Post (BoP), the Lieutenant Governor interacted with the Jawans and lauded their unwavering determination in guarding the nation's frontiers and commended their exemplary role in Operation Sindoor.
